You really need to see in full view to appreciate everything! :)

If you like them, you like them, if you don’t you don’t, but you know what? They are mine, they are original and they are art . . . and that’s what it’s all about!

Wow.. this one looks much better with colour! The textured grass is also quite good here.

Glad you decided to paint this old one.

You're a surrealist painter, Clytze!! It shows you how stupid I am that it taken me so long to see the blindingly obvious...You can see the influence of Dali in a picture like this. How he would have liked to have met you and seen your work. But like him....you have a completely original vision. A totally unique perspective. There is nothing like you, Clytze. You are quite unique.

It's a brilliant painting, by the way.

The simultaneously backwards/forwards facing movement of the giant figure....The sword in the back (?) or is it the chest. Both chest and back, probably.

The smaller animals and figures dotted around and working away in the grass. The animal running, the couple meeting, the people working. The woman in the river. The children with their mother. The statuesque - even pagan-looking - female figures. There is generally a goddess somewhere in your pictures. The fishes as clouds, the clouds as fishes - swimming in the sky. And always some figures that cannot be deciphered. Always that element of mystery. It's a wonderful picture. One of your best. Of all the artists on deviantART....you are just about the only one whose pictures I would like to own (in the original) and hang on the walls and look at, every day

Well done, Clytze. You are a very valuable artist.

I believe that Jesus Christ is my Saviour, but then I also believe that George W Bush is my Mother.

As a source for British history, culture and biography, Wikipedia is about as reliable as an episode of Bonanza.

Either you think, or else others have to think for you.

been awhile since you added something.
its nice to see your works again :)

Well done.

Would be cool if someone mentioned more than just Dali, its not like he was the only one. Dali was definitely skilled and he promoted himself a lot but he is not the only one. I see some influence from Max Ernst too.

Anyway sorry about my rant.
